The laundromat at 1795 W San Carlos St
The first thing you see when you walk in is the row of three 60 lb commercial washers. A king comforter, a week of family laundry or a load of gym towels goes in one of those in a single run. Behind them are the rest of the 36 washers, from 20 lb machines for a quick load up to 77 and 90 lb, and 37 dryers in 30, 45 and 50 lb sizes, so you are not waiting on a dryer when the wash finishes. The Dexter washers, in 20, 40, 60 and 90 lb, are all the Express model. They spin at a high G-force, which pulls far more water out of the load, so your clothes need less time in the dryer and you spend less to dry them.
Everything runs on a LAUNDRiii laundry card that you top up at the kiosk. Turn up with a pocket of quarters and we will change them for notes at the counter, or load the money straight onto your card for you. The same card opens the restroom, which is for customers only and cleaned through the day. There are more than 25 laundry carts, so you are never carrying a wet load across the floor by hand. If you forgot detergent we sell it at the counter at competitive prices, and there are vending machines with chilled drinks and snacks for the wait.
Parking is in the car park, with four reserved spaces directly in front of the storefront so you can unload and load without a walk. Open 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week.
Some of our customers came here as kids, holding a parent’s hand while the washers ran. They come in now with their own children. We take that seriously, and it is why the machines are maintained, the floor is clean and somebody is always on the floor.
Washers start at $4.95 for a 20 lb machine and step up with capacity to the 90 lb. Dryers are priced by time. The full price list is on the machines and at the counter.
Wash & fold at the counter
Bring your laundry in, we weigh it at intake, and you pay for the pounds you brought: $1.95 per pound, 10 lb ($19.50) minimum. It comes back washed, dried, folded and packed in clear protective bags inside your own laundry bag. If you need it today, same-day wash & fold is $2.55 per pound with the same 10 lb minimum.
Comforters and blankets are priced per item rather than by weight: $15 for twin, full or queen, $20 for king, $25 for Cal King. Pillows $5 to $10, bath mats $5 to $10.
Free pickup & delivery across San Jose
Book online, pick a window, leave the bag out. We collect, wash and fold it at the store on San Carlos Street and bring it back the next day. $2.15 per pound, $35 minimum (about 16 lb), and pickup and delivery are free anywhere within 15 miles of the store, which is all of San Jose plus Santa Clara, Campbell, Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Milpitas, Los Gatos and Saratoga.
Four windows: 6–9 AM, 9 AM–12 PM, 12–3 PM and 3–6 PM. Set it to repeat weekly or every two weeks and it is 5% off. If your household does laundry every week, a monthly plan is cheaper per pound: Me, Myself & i is $99 a month for 2 bags (up to 50 lb), with pickup and delivery included.

Dry cleaning, pressed and back in 24 hours
Drop garments at our counter or add them to a pickup, and they come back pressed, hung and bagged. Your clothes are cleaned with the GreenEarth process instead of the petroleum-based perc solvent most cleaners still use. It is gentler on the garment and it does not leave that dry-cleaner smell.
Laundered and pressed business shirt $2.95. Pants, skirts, blouses, sweaters and blazers $7.95. Dresses, jumpsuits and jackets $14.95. Two-piece suit $17.95, three-piece $24.95, overcoat $18.95. 24-hour turnaround when it is in by 3 PM. No minimum if you walk in; $30 minimum on pickup and delivery orders.

Cheapest is a monthly plan, which works out between $1.50 and $1.98 per pound with free pickup and delivery: Me, Myself & i is $99 a month for 2 bags (up to 50 lb), My Partner & i is $189 for 4 bags (up to 100 lb) and My Family & i is $299 for 8 bags (up to 200 lb). Pay as you go, free pickup and delivery is $2.15 per pound with a $35 minimum, back the next day. Drop it at the counter and it is $1.95 per pound, 10 lb ($19.50) minimum, or $2.55 per pound for same day. Comforters and blankets are $15 to $25 each depending on size.
